Now that it's been almost a month without writing, I will try to catch up or at least share a few things that have happened lately. I read a book! This is actually really an accomplishment. It is so hard to find time to read. I've been working a lot, Lets see. November flew by. Of course the best part was visiting family at thanksgiving.  It was nice to have a few days off work to just relax and spend time with the people I love! I also got to spend a day in Vernal which was too short but really great. My cute little brother Tyler got to go on his first date, and I got to see my best friends and have some really good visits. December has been pretty stressful so far. It has also been great at the same time. My favorite parts so far have been decorating my room with Brookie, sewing stockings, drinking hot cocoa (excessively), and our new mattresses.  I've also been starting to swim again with Jessica...and we're planning on doing USU swim team next semester! So I keep forgetting to write on here. I'm lame. Last weekend was pretty good. My dad and brothers came up to go hunting so I got to spend some time with them, especially my dad which was great.  I'm sure I talked my dad's ear off but he doesn't get to hear it every day anymore! Last week was one of those crazy weeks when I don't feel like I did much but I also don't feel like I was that busy. While my dad was here I also got to visit the Wiser's and grandma and grandpa. I am so glad I live close to my family here. I have been able to see my grandparents a lot more and just knowing they are close is so comforting. I've been watching Veronica Mars a lot. Like too much. But I have no more episodes to watch until I can find the third season...so I guess I'm waiting ;) Last friday Emily, Angela, and I went to a Christmas Gift fair. We got to see Santa, we all bought cute rings and enjoyed the Christmas spirit! We also watched the Aggies beat US

Comprehending November

I can't believe how quickly time is flying! My first semester of college is almost over...and I still feel like I just got here! I haven't done too many crazy things in the past week. Last Friday I went to the retirement home where my great grandma lives.  We ate dinner together, which was delicious, then we just talked and chatted for an hour or so. It was good to talk to her and spend time with her. After that they had a halloween party and Jessica came and we had a blast watching the cute couples dance (very impressively.) Jessica even danced with a sweet old man. Saturday started off on the frustrating side. I woke up early to go to the temple but I had locked my keys in the car. So I spent almost a quarter of a paycheck paying to open my car. We ended up going to the Logan Pumpkin Walk which despite the LONG wait in line was actually fun. Then IHOP :) Sunday was a good day. I don't think anything really exciting happened Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday I went to

I love Fall!

So basically, it has been a pretty good week. The weather is still nice. School isn't as horrible as I thought. My grades aren't that great though. ANYWAY, lets see. The last week... Thursday I went on the best run! It was so fun.  I could have just ran all day long. The weather was beautiful. I found new running places. It was great. Friday was fall break, so no class! :) I got to go to the temple in the morning, then Jessica and I went on a hike to the wind caves. It was so fun.  My friend Lindsey from Vernal came up and we did lots of fun things.  We went to the mall, we went to Village inn and had pie at 12:30 am., we had fun talks, and went to church! On Sunday I made homemade apple cider and my roommates sat around a virtual fire. We're excited for Christmas time. My foot's been bugging me so I haven't really been able to work out much. It stinks but oh well. Monday I worked, Tuesday I worked, today was a good day! I woke up super early to do homework.  M

So, the past week was pretty great. I have to say that the best part of it was visiting home, but that's only because my mom is reading this. Just kidding, that really was the best part. :) Last Friday, one of my friends and I drove out to Vernal. I was so excited to be home! It was such a good feeling to pull into my beautiful yard. I got to make bread with my mom and spend time with some friends. Saturday was so relaxing too. On Sunday I got to go to a homecoming for one of my best friends. It's crazy how time flies. The drive home from Vernal was pretty intense. Kameron started the drive...and he got to drive through mist, rain, and snow.  We switched and I just got rain thank goodness. This week hasn't been too exciting yet. Monday I was so lazy. I didn't have to work, and I didn't do any homework. Tuesday I went running in almost freezing temps with my shorts and t-shirt. I like to be hardcore. Today I got a 90 on my music test, which believe it or not appare
